This program enables participants to identify institutional and procedural obstacles to effective legislation; develops their capacity to analyze bills and laws; and refines their ability to participate effectively in policy formulation by strengthening their understanding of the links between legislative proposal and legislative language. The emphasis throughout the training is on developing practice skills. Members of the parliaments and of executive and judicial branches; law drafters, lawyers and other individuals with an interest in effective legislative drafting techniques and methods will benefit from this training.
